We decided to create this petition following the decision of the Bocconi Housing Center to expel [Redacted], Michele Balletta and Jacopo Savini from the Dubini residence. This decision was taken after they organized a get together to present their program as residence representatives. This meeting took place at Jacopo Savini’s place. Jacopo only kindly offered to do the gathering at his place. Even if this meeting did not comply with some of the Housing Center regulations, [Redacted] and Michele showed good faith, resigned from their representative positions and deeply apologized, therefore this sanction seems to be inappropriate. We are also doing this petition to denounce the way the Housing center treated the case. Indeed, the meetings and the communication have only been in italian whereas [Redacted] does not speak this language. The housing center signed the regulations as well and the article 1, paragraph 2, line d states that all students should be treated with transparency and equality. It has clearly not been the case in this situation. Another problem is one of the accusation against [Redacted] and Michele. As a matter of fact, they are accused of throwing a bottle from the fifth floor, this bottle supposedly exploded on the first floor balcony. We gently invite everyone to come to Dubini and note that it is absolutely impossible.

[Redacted] and Michele have always tried to help people around the residence through groupchats and a very positive behavior. Jacopo was just trying to help having a good atmosphere in the residence by offering his place.

Even if you’re not directly concerned by this event, this petition should also be seen as a way to try to change things about the availability of english speaking staff in Bocconi.
