The Twin Cities chapter of the American Alpine Club is interested in helping to get access for climbing back to Canidae Cliff, in Hammond Minnesota. Before they can start, they need to see how much support they will have from the local outdoors community. A while back the local police department closed the cliff, to climbing due to cars blocking the road and complaints from the locals.  If you'd like another climbing area (only 20 minutes from Rochester) please sign this petition. 

Canidae Cliff is a small crag with about 16 route. The ratings range from about 5.7 to 5.12 and stands roughly 60ft tall. If you'd like to learn more there is a Mountain Project page.

Again the crag is currently CLOSED to climbing. Please do not make the situation worse by climbing before it's reopened.
