We, the undersigned members of the Montgomery County community, respectfully
submit this petition to the Montgomery County Board of Education regarding the
resignation of Mr. Rufus Samkin, Principal of Montgomery Central High School.

Mr. Samkin has served as a dedicated leader, positively impacting students, staff, and
the broader school community. His commitment to academic excellence, student
development, and school pride has made a meaningful difference in the lives of many.

We believe that strong, consistent leadership is essential for the continued success and
stability of Montgomery Central High School. At a time when students and staff benefit
most from continuity and support, we feel that retaining Mr. Samkin would best serve
the interests of the school community.

Therefore, we respectfully request that the Montgomery County Board of Education
carefully reconsider the circumstances surrounding this resignation and take all possible
steps to rescind the resignation of Mr. Rufus Samkin and retain him as Principal.

This petition reflects the voices of concerned parents, students, alumni, and community
members who value the leadership and contributions he has made.
