Support for keeping Tytherington parkland and lake open to the community

Support for keeping Tytherington parkland and lake open to the community
The Issue
UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who signed this petition in such a short space of time to support keeping the land open, and your words of appreciation for the parkland. The petition is now closed.
--
Thousands of local residents access the parkland in Tytherington on Bulls Quarries Lane all year round for a wide range of leisure activities, including walking, dog walking, fishing, family gatherings, picnicking, being in nature, sporting activities, and more.
We are saddened to hear that this land is being closed off to the public, and believe it is a vital and invaluable green space which plays an important role in the physical health, mental health and wellbeing of our community.
This land has been accessed by the local community for more than twenty years and should not be closed off now.
We sign in support of the land being recognised as a village green and staying open for public access.
