Cupar Recycling Centre closed its doors on Sunday the 26th of February 2023, siting "operational issues". Since then it has become apparent that this closure has come because of an independent report which has yet to be published in full by the Labour/Liberal/Conservative coalition. I'm advised that the report is damning and it found Cupar Recycling Centre to be dangerous to those using the facility.

I have set up this petition for users of the Cupar Recycling Centre and the communities around Cupar, to show their support for the site to be made safe and reopened as soon as possible. If this can't be done then a new site needs to be found and opened, urgently.
