Congress is currently in the process of appropriating funds for programs that are critical to food banks. Feeding America urges you to contact your Representative to ask them to support their local food bank by signing on to a letter by Representatives McGovern and Boozman that requests Congress to fully fund $15 million for food bank infrastructure grants and $100 million for TEFAP storage and distribution grants. These grants will help food banks address the rising costs to store and distribute food and ensure that it gets to those who need it most.
