This Thursday July 13th is your next chance to advocate for real preservation of Patterson Farm. Lower Makefield’s Ad Hoc Committee will hear Seiler-Drury’s findings on the conditions of the farm buildings.

The historic barns and outbuildings on Patterson Farm are in danger of being “repurposed” for non-agricultural use, a decision that would end their use for agriculture FOREVER. Thirty eight acres of Patterson Farms’ prime farmland remain unprotected and vulnerable to conversion. Please use the information above to watch the meeting and participate.

Please call in during the Public Comment section of the meeting. Support a sustainable future for agriculture on our community farm. Please advocate preservation of the historic barns for continued agricultural use, and a conservation easement to protect the vulnerable prime farmland. Let the Committee know the public expects full preservation of the farm citizens voted to preserve, because local farms matter!
