Encore Center for Performing Arts and Project Indigo are two thriving small businesses in the Armonk community, dedicated to nurturing creativity and talent in hundreds of children. Located conveniently at 1 Byram Brook Place, we offer vital after-school services that help shape the future of our young participants.

Armonk has a huge theatre community, and Encore supports it by offering classes in dance, music, and theatre. We train students in both acting and vital musical theatre techniques which is not offered anywhere else in the community. 

**The Dilemma**

Currently, Armonk's district activity bus accommodates a variety of after-school programs, ensuring students have safe and reliable transportation to their activities. However, due to capacity issues, Encore Center and Project Indigo have been left out of this crucial service. This exclusion directly impacts our ability to grow and continue providing exceptional experiences to the children who rely on us.

Without transportation, many families are unable to participate in our programs. This limitation not only stifles our businesses' progress, but also restricts the availability of enriching opportunities for local youth. It's a loss felt deeply within our community.

**Our Request to the Community and the District**

We are reaching out to the Armonk School District for assistance in expanding the capacity of the activity bus service to include our programs. This can be achieved through measures such as a few mini buses, optimizing current schedules, or adding additional routes. Our businesses, and more importantly, the children, need this crucial support from the community.
