This petition is a response to the news that Dharun Ravi was found guilty of bias intimidation, invasion of privacy, hindering apprehension and witness tampering. As a result of these convictions, he may face significant time in jail and possible deportation (despite the fact that he has spent nearly his entire life in the United States and is as culturally American as any American from a first generation immigrant family).I believe Dharun Ravi is not a criminal. I believe Dharun Ravi is a victim. I believe Dharun Ravi's life is being destroyed to serve political purposes. Thank you for your support.
