The establishment of an indoor/outdoor trap facility in the industrial zoned rural Koch's Lane property promises to enrich our community in various ways. In 2025 alone, 55,832 youth were actively involved in this sport in the State of Illinois. With 1,972 schools participating and an impressive 11,350 coaches dedicated to nurturing young talents, it is clear that the thirst for development and engagement in this field is both widespread and profound.  Every school in Adams County has a clay target program. 

This facility won't just serve the youth; it will be a thriving hub for community engagements. Hotels and restaurants will see increased patronage, uplifting the local economy by drawing in visitors and enthusiasts from all over. It also opens up avenues to host fundraising events and benefit multiple organizations within our community, ensuring that everyone, from local businesses to charities, gains from this initiative.
