I am a single mother of three wonderful children. For years, I’ve carried the responsibility of raising them on my own while surviving two abusive relationships. Recently, I had to take the difficult but necessary step of pursuing an order of protection to ensure our safety and create a peaceful home environment.

Despite the struggles, I remain determined to give my children the stability, love, and opportunities they deserve. With the new school year beginning, my biggest hope is to provide them with everything they need to succeed — from supplies, clothing, and shoes to resources that will allow them to focus on learning, growing, and just being kids.

As a mom, I will never stop fighting for my children’s well-being. But right now, I can’t do it alone.
