Support a Moratorium on Indiana's Factory Farms

The Issue

Indiana State Senator Allen Paul has introduced a bill that would put a moratorium on building new factory farms or expanding existing factory farms for 3 years. The idea is that then the State Assembly would have time to delve deeper into the impact factory farms have on Indiana. 

Indiana currently has over 3,000 factory farms, and there are 14 counties in Indiana with 50 or more factory farms apiece. The density of animals in Indiana is rising and state legislators deserve a chance to consider what is happening before allowing agribusiness to take over their state. 

Write to the Indiana State Assembly and urge them to support Senator Allen Paul's bill.
