After recent events at Arthur Hill High School where a student was assaulted, reported the assault to authorities. When reporting the student was met with victim-blaming, and ultimately a punishment. This student who reported the crime to get justice and support was denied those things and suspended now for multiple days. In addition to this horrific incident students who have posted support for this student have been also faced punishment by the administration. Here in Saginaw and all around the United States, we are saying NO to this type of treatment to victims of sexual assault. We are demanding that the students are allowed back at school immediately and can continue their education We are demanding that these students suspensions be erased from their records We are demanding that the assaulter in the situation be brought to justice We are demanding that the Vice Principal, Principal, and any other administrator involved be investigated and fired for their disgusting treatment of these students.
