We are students and parents who believe that returning to online school in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District is the safer, logical, and more streamlined option to the current spike in COVID-19 cases. Current protocols recommend testing and vaccination yet don't mandate it. Along with this, the school does not have to receive a students test results allowing sick students to come to school without consequence. In a time when many students and teachers cant even show up to school due to infection, it seems only logical that students return to online learning to make school safer for teachers, students, and their families.
