Supercell has recently released some patch notes saying global chat is going to be removed for good. I have always believed global chat has not only been a good addition to the game but has been an outlet where you can talk to anyone who you have something in common with. Global has been here since the beginning and I believe we shouldn't just abandon it! They have stated its to help prevent fraud and spam, while some of this may be true I personally haven't encountered any of this and i have been playing the game for give or take 5 years. I believe they are taking it away because they don't want to dedicate the time and resources to it anymore which is understandable but I don't agree with it. I personally always loved the ability to talk im global whenever my clan was asleep, or I wanted to expose myself to more people and kore clans. I have even met people in global that soon became friends in real life. I hope many of you agree and have had similar experiences and will spread this around and do everything to get Supercell's attention to show we are not ok with this!
