As you may know, the nCOV-19 virus has been spreading rapidly and the mis-information via the media and other sources are either downplaying or making the virus more than it is. The virus is dangerous and should not be compared to the Flu as they do not relate AT ALL. The US has seen a 33% increase of cases within the past 17 hours and many students are now being hospitalized.  We have surpassed 1000 cases and many more tests are being conducted in this region of Ohio. As the largest Highschool in the state, we should take action and take it now and resort to remote learning immediately. What happened in Italy is exactly what is happening here in this nation and it's shameful that our SI has not said a word regarding what we should expect, if no word is given, a formal plea the the Department of Education will be sent within 24 hours. Sign this petition, student, teacher, parent, or someone who wants to prevent student deaths as they have occurred rampant in Japan, sign this now.
