If you live in Whitefish, Columbia Falls or Kalispell and do your grocery shopping at Super 1 Foods, you may have noticed a recent change in the organic produce section. Most organic produce is now being sold in single-use plastic wrap. This plastic wrap is NOT recyclable, ultimately ending up in our oceans and in landfills. The Flathead Valley community should not have to choose between feeding ourselves and our families with nutritious, organic produce or polluting our planet with single use plastics. 

Many people have shared their concerns directly with Super 1 Foods, but so far we've had no luck. If we gather our voices together, we can make a change for the better! If you care about this issue, please take a few minutes today to take these four easy actions:

1. Sign this petition to let Super 1 Foods know that you will no longer purchase their produce until they STOP selling pre-wrapped organic fruits and vegetables.
2. Call Super 1 Foods at (406) 862-2222, ask to be transferred to their corporate office, and politely ask them to stop selling organic produce wrapped in single use plastic.
3. Submit a complaint through the Super 1 Foods website: https://www.super1foods.net/contact-us
4. Spread the word to other Whitefish locals who want to respect earth and eat organic!
