This has been an extremely unorthodox semester, not only for the students, but for the entire SUNY Oneonta community. The fall of 2020 is a semester that we have never seen before. Online learning brought upon a lot of stress, anxiety, restlessness, etc. on the student body. 

There should be an alternative grading system, more specifically a pass/fail option, as a way to compensate students for their mental and physical struggles throughout the fall 2020 semester. 

It only makes sense for an unconventional semester and learning system to be accompanied by an unconventional grading method.
