For many years, Omar Kelly has been a beat writer/columnist for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel covering the Miami Dolphins. As fans, we have come to accept his general inaccuracies in his reporting, his typically poor opinions, and his generally "holier-than-thou" attitude on Twitter towards his readers. No matter what, Omar is always the smartest man in any conversation about the Miami Dolphins - if you ask him.

But today it has gone a step too far, declaring on Twitter after spending a few days on a VACATION there that Cuba is actually "the most developed Caribbean island" and that "the American, and specifically the Miami narrative about Cuba is very warped and quite deceptive."

This is an insult to anyone who has family currently suffering under the Cuban regime or had anyone suffering under the Cuban regime years ago. It shows Omar Kelly's ignorance and lack of understanding of the real situation in Cuba for the long-suffering Cuban people.

We may have had to deal with Omar Kelly's bad coverage of the Miami Dolphins for years. But he has now crossed a line that there's no coming back from. Please help us force the Sun-Sentinel to remove Omar Kelly from his position with their company.
