

SUN CITY HILTON HEAD GOLFERS NEIGHBORS AND COMMUNITY UNITE!
The Issue
We, the undersigned residents of Sun City Hilton Head, and owners of our golf courses, submit this petition to formally request that our Board of Directors and Troon take immediate action to remove or reassign the current Director of Golf.
This action is necessary due to sustained leadership failures, persistent communication break down, operation incompetence, and complete loss of community confidence in the Director of Golf's ability to manage, lead, nor restore the standards expected of golf operations in our community.
GROUNDS FOR THIS PETITION:
LEADERSHIP FAILURES: The Director of Golf has demonstrated an ongoing inability to provide effective leadership resulting in declining course conditions, inconsistent staff performance, golf shop management, and a reactive verses proactive management culture.
COMMUNICATION FAILURES: Residents, volunteers and committees have repeatedly experienced poor communication, incomplete information, and a lack of transparency. This has eroded trust and hindered constructive collaboration.
OPERATIONAL INCOMPETENCE: Critical responsibilities have not been executed to acceptable basic operational standards including but not limited to; staff training and professional development, oversight, scheduling, basic operational readiness, and most importantly, over scheduling play at al courses at the cost of maintaining general maintenance. These failures have negatively impacted the resident golfing experience as well as the reputation of our golf programs and overall property.
LOSS OF COMMUNITY CONFIDENCE: Confidence in the Director of Golf's leadership is now nonexistent. After repeated opportunities to correct ongoing challenges, the Director has demonstrated zero accountability, failed to implement a corrective strategy, and has not demonstrated a commitment to regain community trust.
REQUESTED ACTION:
We respectfully request that our current Board of Directors and Troon:
1: Remove and/or reassign the current Director of Golf Operations.
2: Immediately implement interim leadership capable of stabilizing operations, restoring communication and rebuilding community confidence.

This petition reflects the collective voice of the residents of Sun City Hilton Head who own these golf courses, who expect professional leadership, operational excellence and accountability of the management of all golf operations.
