Hello Sumner County and students! Please read the following:

A lot of students and staff have been struggling with this pandemic. Giving students a lot of work and giving them shorter study halls isn’t helping. Most students of Sumner County are struggling to keep up with these daily lessons. They’ve been stripped of their 6-8 hours of sleep due to all of the work that has been bestowed upon them. Do know that they appreciate you for taking notice to many of their difficulties. Already you guys have improved by giving students free meals, but I doubt anyone is learning anything. There’s no reason for us to not speak on this. We have a voice. Here are some suggestions:

•Give students longer study halls or give them longer time to catch up on work

•Give students less homework

•Many people throughout the county have seen nobody taking this virus/pandemic serious. Please be more strict with the whole 6ft distance rule/guideline.

In conclusion, please be more cautious. This virus should not be taken lightly. More people are testing positive everyday and we guarantee many students would not like to be next. And for homework and study hall time, please be a little more lenient. Not every student learns at the same pace as others.
