Protect private property use laws for the community enjoyment of motor sports recreation
The Issue
Like many private motocross tracks and motor sports locations across the country, the Flying Iron Horse Ranch--located just outside Park City, UT in the rural community of Wanship--is being threatened to be denied its permitted use for motorcycle recreation.
Over a 35 year period, Steve Luczak and his family (owners of the Flying Iron Horse Ranch) have dedicated their time and resources to improving and protecting the motor sports community. In the last 10 years, the "open door" policy of their home has created additional opportunities for friends, family and communities to more fully enjoy the benefits of their lifelong passions. Their history in track construction, racing, event promoting, high-end home building, landscaping, consulting, and community service has impacted the lives of youth groups, female riders, disabled veterans, pro racers, and other outdoor enthusiasts who come to participate in actives such as motocross, four wheeling, mountain biking, dirt jumping, fly fishing, hiking, camping, and wide variety of other interests.
The sole purpose of their efforts and the intent behind their property is to continue to share this passion for life with others while giving various community members an opportunity to engage in their passions within the confines of an uplifting, one-of-a-kind outdoor environment. The desired outcomes for doing so include improving the quality of life for fellow enthusiasts as well as building stronger ties with friends and families through the activities listed above.
Choosing to sign this petition demonstrates your support for this cause and the desire to continue a way of life that millions of families seek to enjoy.
