Throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic, the face of education has changed. Along with this, additional hardships have come along with adjusting to surviving amid this crisis. The student body has spoken and has requested a Pass/Fail grading system to adjust to these hardships which include:

Financial Insecurities, difficulties accessing education, mental health issues, emotional issues, and many more.

Switching to a fully online model has created a challenge for students when it comes to adjusting to this way of learning, and the value that this education carries has diminished because of it. To give students the opportunity to a pass/fail system, would relieve a great amount of stress caused by the pandemic, due to having to worry about GPA's and many other educational concepts that would greatly benefit the University and its students as a whole. 

Suffolk's students are an educated, proud, and prominent group of individuals that want to be heard and recognized. At this point, we are asking for a change in the grading system, as we feel unheard and unrecognized, but more importantly, we strive to succeed.
