The US Energy Policy Act of 2005 states that the Smart Meter Program is not a mandate. Smart meters include wireless meters that transmit microwave radiation.  Citizens have a right to Opt out of the Smart Meter Program.  Our rights have been violated. The New York State Public Service Commission and Utilities have installed wireless and smart meters without the legal consent of the residents of New York. Citizens demands to remove the wireless meters are being ignored.

Wireless/Smart Meter technology causes negative health issues as a result of the  microwave radiation. Symptoms include insomnia, nose bleeds, vertigo, nausea, headaches, nervous tension, heart palpitations, audible buzzing/humming and skin conditions. This technology also raises concerns about safety issues as a result of meters catching fire, security breaches, invasion of privacy, interference of medical devices, and false claims of energy savings.

There is mass opposition and support for alternatives to wireless metering across the USA as well as around the Globe.  Scientists are urging the Smart Grid Program be stopped. Published Studies prove the modulated pulsed microwave signals are not compatible with humans and animals.

 Never in the history of mankind have all living things been exposed to this level of microwave radiation pulsing 24 hours a day non-stop.  Citizens are left with no choice or control over their own environment.

 We have a right to the peace and protection of our well-being in our own homes. Citizens of New York must not allow this untested, unsafe technology into our communities.
