Allowing Brain Food in Class

Allowing Brain Food in Class
Why this petition matters
I am Saige Brookman, a year 7 student at GLC and it has been brought upon myself, that we have a minor inconvenience. In class, people are getting distracted. I was wondering why, but the issue is that we are missing brain food. We cant focus because our brain does not have the power, so we are not getting any work done. In primary school, we are allowed to have brain food, but when we get to middle school, we cant. I was wondering why it is like this. It would more likely be more beneficial for the middle school to have it as we are probably working a little harder than the primary school. All the teachers and staff at GLC care about their students, and this would be quite helpful for us GLC students.
Children need the will to focus sometimes, but then when they have the will but not the power, it's not a good situation. When kids can't focus on their school, nothing happens, no work, then no motivation. Kids need to be able to get their work done and if there is nothing, we have done to be able to give them at will then we need to help them in the only way we can. Giving them power. Its quite nearly impossible to focus when your brain physically can't, so we need to give them that power so they can focus. That power comes from brain food. if we do not give them that power, then how will they do in school!? If they do not get their work done, that is more work at home, the more work we have at home, the more we do not want to do it. The more we do not want to do it, the less we get done. The less we get done, the less and less motivation we do not get. It never ends. We end up getting nothing done, then it is just an endless cycle. The least we can do is give them the power to get it done.
When children can eat food in class, it is not distracting to them which is what some teachers think, it all depends on what they eat. If they eat vegetables and fruit, its helpful and will give them the power to get their work done. If they have chips, lollies, or snacks for recess and lunch, it will not. Majority of teaches think that if children have any of these foods, it does the same thing. Distracts them. We need to be able to tell the difference between what food to have and what food not to have.
if we can have brain food in class, we will improve dramatically in our education, mindfulness, and helpfulness.
