Students from NTU are required to pay for school fees during a mandatory semester-long internship. There are other local universities like NUS or SMU, where students are not required to pay school fees during an internship.

We are seeking for transparency from the Student Affairs office on the following:
1. Rationale on why students have to pay school fees to work with an external company
2. What services are NTU providing for students during the internship since school fees are being collected?
3. What is NTU doing differently compared to local universities that justifies the need for collecting school fees?
