"Watching the news on channel 7 tonight and the sports stories come on, and there on the screen is the budding sportsman who had been to jail, for what he said was some burglaries and stealing cars, won't sound much to most.
Unless you remember this man storming into your house with three others armed with knife, brick, star picket & a wooden stake when a 2 year old boy lay (what we then thought) was sleeping in his room, one pinned me up against the wall while the other three attacked my partner in the bedroom hitting him over the head with a brick and ultimately slashing his hand, leaving a 6 inch deep slash in the mattress where they had tried to stab him, and us both scarred by the events that night.
I appreciate everyone deserves a second chance and time has been served.
My son is now 8 and still makes sure the doors are locked in case the bad men come back.
Happy to hear he has turned his life around and I'm sure he will do well in the AFL.
Just wonder how much of that night he remembers?
I didn't hear him mention the people who's lives had been tainted by his actions.

This was my sister and her family.  The impact that night on not only them, but our extended family and freinds, will never be forgotten.  Now he is in a program for mentoring youths but where was the compassion for my nephew, sister & brother in law? What type of public figure will he become, when he is lying by ommision? My family were not the only ones targeted, and yet Channel 7 produce a feel good story with no mention of the trauma that this man inflicted on us.  Why did they not investigate his true history? Why was there no voice for his victims? 

Tell Subiaco Foortball Club to cancel his contract and prevent this man from influencing the next generation of young men. It is disappointing that they would want to associate with this type of criminal.
