It has come to many people's attention that UBG100 has been blocked. UBG100 gave us the time to relax whenever we have breaks in class. Thus creating a perfect learning environment. As of now, if you try to go to UBG100 it will say Approved For Staff. I believe this is not equality and the student should be able to play games when they seem fit. Even though they play games during class, teachers can block websites using a chrome extension. This will cause fewer distractions in their class. But for teachers who don't mind their students playing games, will have trouble finding something to do when they are supposed to be silent. In my case, I used UBG100 whenever I didn't have anything to do in class, and when my teacher allowed it. I also played it during advisory (we have clubs at Nelson), I always went to Math and Science club, but when we found out it was probably not going to happen, we started making it more like a hangout to finish work and play games. Personally, I used UBG100 to unwind for the daily hassles of the day when I am allowed to. If the Teachers are allowed to play games while teaching, I believe that the students should be able to do too. Signing this petition will help the students in FISD have fun while learning in school.
