STOP Tree Cutting: Save Trees, Save Life

STOP Tree Cutting: Save Trees, Save Life
The Issue
For building, paper, and other uses, cutting down trees is necessary to produce wood, but logging and other activities that destroy trees can potentially lead to negative impacts on ecosystems and the environment as a whole. Large scale tree cutting may lead to deforestation, a transformation of a place with little vegetation from forest to the terrain. Oxygen is created and greenhouse gases are absorbed by plants. Therefore, the destruction of trees could promote global warming.
Cutting trees can result in the loss of habitat for animal species, which can harm ecosystems. According to National Geographic, "70 percent of Earth’s land animals and plants live in forests, and many cannot survive the deforestation that destroys their homes." Trees benefit the environment by helping to keep it free from toxins, supplying life on earth with nutrients, and combating the negative effects of harmful gases that exist in it. Trees allow consumers to save energy, further helping to reduce the impact of the overuse of resources.
There’s a lot of environmental benefits to planting a tree:
1. Reducing Climate Change
2. Purifying Air
3. Cooling Down the Streets
4. Natural Air Conditioning
5. Saving Water
6. Preventing Water Pollution
7. Providing Shelters for Wildlife
8. Renewable Energy Source
9. Reinforcing Soil
10. Erosion Control
We have to save trees, and to save trees means protecting them from destruction by human activities such as clearing the townships, factories, and industries of the forested areas. Our environment is the most important resource for life. We get water, power, and oxygen from the environment. Saving the environment will help to prevent the extinction of living organisms.
There are still plenty of ways in saving our nature. We are just one voice among many, wanting to change the world and that change should start now.
