This petition is to stop the Board of Trustees at Jacksonville State University from adding a 4th dining hall and giving all students a mandatory charge for a dining plan. The focus of campus renovations needs to be on the buildings currently under construction or abandoned since the tornado of March 2018. Other renovations, after what has already been stated, the school needs would be parking decks or updates to housing. The school is wanting to charge unnecessary funds instead of taking care of the matters at hand. It is time to have Student Representation on the Board that respects the views of the student body and acknowledges their opinions.
