The lack of empathy for our teachers and faculty presented by the school board and other adults is uncomprehendingly concerning. Their lives are being put at risk, as well as their families, for the comfort of a small amount of individuals who are not in the building, who are not dedicating their lives to educate, and who are not thinking for anyone but themselves. Remote learning isn’t ideal, and in-person would be better. Unfortunately, we are in a global pandemic, and COVID-19 is a possibly lethal disease. For the safety of ALL people who work tirelessly for our school community, it is the right choice to make.
