As most of us have heard, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is now in Montgomery county. After some very basic research, I found out that, "COVID-19 can spread from person to person." There is no question that this virus will spread, and possibly get out of control. Closing school should be the number one priority now. With today’s technology, we will still be able to progress academically as well as keep everyone safe; the students, and all the administrative people at the school. We think surviving is the main priority now. By that, we are asking you to please close the school, and have our kids and teachers communicate via email, Skype, or other sources to progress academy. I think no matter student or staff at the school we could agree that both physical and mental health comprises a sound healthy future. We as concerned students here at the campus must stand for change.

As you guys might have heard, some of the biggest colleges in Maryland are now closed. Some examples of these schools are UMBC (Classes are canceled March 12-13th), UMD (Closed March 30th to April 10th), Towson University (Classes are canceled March 11-13th), JHU (Canceled March 11th to April 12th), Howard Community College (March 11-13th). None of these schools have had any potential contact with Coronavirus but we have and yet we are still in school.
