Girls and guys face the struggle for wearing tank tops cropped shirts and cutoffs at school when they don’t show anything also ripped jeans rips can’t be too high and shorts have to be finger tip length what about the tall people? If they don’t reveal and privates or anything in appropriate we should be able to wear them! Clothes are how most teenager express themselves why take that away? If it’s hot out why can’t girls wear tank tops and guys wear their cut offs? Teachers say it’s too distracting but they shouldn’t be looking at our bodies anyways who cares what we wear we do not judge them on what they wear! At the DuBois Highschool we aren’t allowed to wear cropped shirts that aren’t really cropped or guys can’t wear cut offs we have to wear fingertip length or just wear what the school wants not what we feel like we want to wear to express ourselves. We get told shoulders are distracting but how? No one ever tells us when they are students only teachers. We aren’t allowed to wear shirts with guns on them because guns are a weapon but it’s just a picture!!!!! This impacts teens all over America and it degrades their confidence because we can’t be free with our clothes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
