It’s super cold in this specific room, so turning on the heat will not only allow comfort, but offer a better space to focus. Students complain of the temperature, and this is our environment to learn effectively. How can we do so with it being excessively frigid? We the students are coming together and using skills taught at Stanly Stem to voice our complaints as well as concerns about our education. We want to be comfortable while learning, so we don’t think it’s much to ask to turn on the heat. Students are expected to layer, but why can’t teachers dress according to room temperature as well? If everyone is cold, turning on the heat instead of wearing excessive layers we feel, would be beneficial.
