Bring naptime back to high school

The issue

High school students are often fatigued and stressed. Bringing nap time back would help students to achieve higher results. Homework and assignments often fill our nights leaving little time to rest from the busy school day. By signing this petition you are helping the future and current generations of high school students to succeed to the highest level they are capable of. Many studies support this and research does too. Many of us know from being tired it can affect our emotions, eating habits, social interaction, energy levels and learning abilities. By giving students adequate time to regenerate during the day every student can benefit. Mental health in teenagers has risen by 20% according to a study done by year13 due to the ever-rising pressures of schooling. It is also harder to take a step back and forget about schooling due to mobile phones. This is why students believe we should be allowed adequate nap time during the school day.
