This petition is being made because the students from Eagle Valley High School and Battle Mountain High school don't believe that it is fair to take our phones away/ restrict them because we need them to communicate with family and communicate  with each other. Okay I get it we do get off task but there are times when we need to communicate with our parents siblings or cousins. example, my mom had surgery a couple years ago and I had many many missed calls by my aunt, sister and brother. they were trying to tell me that my mom was in the emergency room. I know i am not the only one that has had a problem like this so I think that this petition will help to get rid of this phone ban. I believe that getting rid of the phone ban will help with even mental health. i think that mental health is very important because with not having your phone your stress can increase and that can cause depression or just being stressed can cause to be more angry or to have body pains and and teenage students don't need more stress, we already have enough with home work and school. Getting rid of this phone ban is a good idea and those are my reasons.
