The homework schools provide high school students do nothing, but give us more stress. We receive way too much homework. We spend hours a day doing homework when we could spend that time hanging out with family. Homework is a disgrace. It doesn’t help at all and takes up too much valuable time. It’s scientifically proven that homework adds unnecessary stress that a high school student can’t handle. By the time we are finished with homework we have no time left for extracurricular activities or even time to read a book. Students need time for themselves to rest their brain, but with the amount of homework we have it’s overwhelming. Homework makes students depressed and makes us want to give up on school. Students need extra time to relax.
