Bathrooms at Tokay High have been shut down due to vandalism and vaping. While these do happen frequently, it is not fair to close the bathrooms to all students. Vandalism and vaping should receive separate consequences that don’t effect all of the students. It is important to have bathrooms open, otherwise students will be unfocused in class due to the need to use the restroom. As well having only one restroom open creates a long line which takes up students time during lunch and passing periods.
