Greater Latrobe is ending wood shop for everyone next year. The teacher is moving to the junior high and nobody will be able to take the wood classes ever again if it ends. I loved going into class everyday to make projects I am proud of and projects that were personal for other people such as a team photo laser etched onto a plaque for our volleyball coach. I think wood shop is a great class for students who don’t want to go to EWCTC for half a day like me but still want to learn how to use tools. I’m asking for students or parents who’ve enjoyed the class to please sign this petition in hopes they reconsider keeping wood shop.
