Close Canadian Post-Secondary Schools to avoid further spread of the new Corona Virus.

Close Canadian Post-Secondary Schools to avoid further spread of the new Corona Virus.
The Issue
As school boards all over Canada are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, students and staff don't feel that we should be putting our health, and possibly life, at risk just to get the decent education we paid for.
This pandemic won't stop spreading until we quarantine ourselves to avoid further spread, but why aren't our schools closing for that sole purpose? If we quarantine ourselves now and avoid large, open spaces where thousands of people roam day to day, there will be a lower chance of spread. Here are many other reasons to why Post-Secondary Schools should be closed upon further inspection of the Coronavirus.
It is not fair to increase our chances of getting the virus just to finish a class or program that can easily be taught online or in another school year.
School boards can offer many other academic alternatives in place for our money's worth to receive/continue our education, especially seeing as the semester is coming to an end and students would still like to achieve decent marks without the risk of sickness.
Also noting that other post-secondary schools are offering alternatives such as online classes and accommodations.
There is a chance that there is someone in your Post-Secondary School with the Coronavirus and students/staff will never know until the situation worsens/spreads.
It is always better to be safe than sorry in a situation dealing with illness.
Let's follow Canadian public schools for example…
They shut down to take precautions and not risk having anyone being infected. The safety precautions that the government puts out in place (washing hand signs, sanitizers, etc) won't be as adequate than closing down campuses to avoid further spread.
Please sign this petition if you are for closing post-secondary schools to ensure our safety and prevent any potential health issues related to COVID-19.
