Our great little community has missed Poquoson High school sports since March 2020 due to COVID. For example, I missed my Junior baseball season with 20 baseball games. This year we are only set to play 12 games rather than the normal 20, which means we have lost 28 games.  We were at practice when the coach called us in and informed us that our season had been cancelled.  All of us Spring athletes are the only ones who have felt the pain of our entire season cancelled. I don’t want the rest of ours athletes to feel what we did that day. The school board will be meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 17th and could potentially cancel ALL SPORTS seasons!  Please sign this petition to show the school board how much we want our 2020-2021 sports season to remain on schedule.  Also, we are organizing a group to gather at 5pm at Poquoson City Hall building before the school board meeting, to show the school board members how much it means to us!  #letusplay
