In late January or early February my friend and I purchased tickets to see Lady Gaga on May 16th 2020 in Las Vegas. Ticket price was $470.50. After the Pandemic started and this concert was cancelled they gave individuals with cancelled event tickets a 120% credit, which totaled $564.60 in this case. This credit expires December 31st 2021. When I originally called about the concert being cancelled I was told I’d receive a refund for this event. About 7 days later I received an email advising The event was cancelled and I’d get a 120% credit. I then called StubHub to advise I was told I’d get a refund, the representative told me they’re no longer doing this, I’d only get the credit, and even a manager would tell me the same thing. After going back and forth with the representative and asking for a manager for 10 minutes they finally placed me on hold to get a manager. After about a 10 minute hold they said a manager wasn’t available and they’d have 1 call me within 72 hours. This was over a month ago and as of today (5/18/2020) I still have not received a call back. I looked at their Facebook to see if others are also having this issue, and that’s when I noticed StubHub hasn’t posted anything since March 11th. I also noticed they are removing comments from their post primarily from others with the same issue. I have heard that StubHub is possibly filing bankruptcy. If this happens we will not receive a refund as it would be written off. The way I see it, we are in the middle of a pandemic and $470 is a lot of money. I could use the money more then a credit and am petitioning for them to refund the money. I’d love to see Lady Gaga and would have used the credit for this, however concerts are not guaranteed at this time. I am asking everyone who has worked hard for their money and bought concert tickets to please sign this petition to help ALL concert goers who are being ripped off on ticket refunds. We deserve to get our money back!
