The Issue

We, the undersigned, demand that the UK Government immediately investigate and dissolve "TS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LIMITED" (Company No. 07254811) for serving as the UK branch of a confirmed tool of Iranian state repression.

The Evidence:

A recent Guardian investigation (29 Jan 2026) has revealed that a company registered in Hove, East Sussex, is acting as the UK branch of the Iranian corporation Towse'e Saman Information Technology (TSIT). This company is the developer of "Gap Messenger," an app heavily promoted by the Iranian regime to replace encrypted Western platforms.

Digital rights watchdog FilterWatch has linked Gap Messenger to the Iranian government’s internet control apparatus. Leaked data suggests the app has handed over user information to Iranian security services, putting activists at grave risk of arrest and torture.

Why This Is Personal:

We know firsthand the devastating effects of surveillance in Iran. Every day, brave protesters face the risk of being tracked, arrested, and silenced simply because of their digital activities.

Sky News recently reported that up to 33,000 people may have been killed in recent protests.

By allowing TSIT LTD to operate here, we are inadvertently hosting the digital infrastructure that enables this oppression. It is a slap in the face to every courageous individual risking their life for freedom to see their oppressors doing business in Sussex.

Our Demands:

We call on the Secretary of State for Business and Trade and Companies House to:

  1. Investigate the Directors: Scrutinise the activities of founders Hadi and Mahdi Anjidani for any connections to the Iranian state or the IRGC.
  2. Audit the Company: Immediately investigation TSIT LTD for potential breaches of UK sanctions and GDPR laws.
  3. Close the Loophole: We must not sanction the regime with one hand while legally registering its tech arms with the other. If this company is found to be a front for foreign repression, it must be struck from the register immediately.

The UK must not be a safe haven for the architects of Iran's digital crackdowns. Sign the petition today.
