Strike off solicitor for perverting justice in my son's case

The Issue

My world shattered the day my son was killed in a hit and run. The person responsible escaped justice, not just due to their actions, but because of the unethical conduct by a solicitor who was supposed to uphold the law. This solicitor, in an alarming twist, interfered in the investigation to shield her partner involved in my son's death. Her attempts to pervert the course of justice are documented in police findings, as well as backed by mobile data evidence.

The distress this solicitor caused goes beyond betrayal; it is a blatant disregard for justice and the law she vowed to serve. Instead of seeking the truth and ensuring accountability, she sided with the offender, visited the crime scene, and then facilitated their escape by leaving Anglesey, turning off their phones to avoid detection. Their return to the scene the following day was intentionally delayed to bypass a blood test for alcohol consumption, thereby evading critical evidence collection.

To my utmost dismay, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) decided not to pursue the case further. However, even the CPS acknowledged that the solicitor's actions warrant disciplinary action.

This petition seeks to bring the solicitor to account for her unethical and disgraceful conduct by having her struck off from practicing law. It's crucial that the legal profession maintains its integrity, and allowing such behavior goes unpunished undermines public trust.

To prevent future miscarriages of justice and to ensure that the legal system remains fair and just for all, the Law Society or relevant legal authority must take action against this solicitor.

If justice for my son is to mean anything, we must send a clear message that those entrusted to uphold the law cannot, under any circumstances, subvert it to protect the guilty. Please support this call for justice by signing this petition.
