Furthermore, tourism in the Philippines contributed to 12.7% of the nation's GDP in 2019 (World Travel & Tourism Council), showing the importance of these locations for both economic and ecological reasons. By ensuring the adoption of sustainable practices, we can protect our ecosystems without compromising the livelihoods of the communities dependent on them.
