Stray Haven initiative

The Issue

In every corner of our beloved AFDA Campus, one can find stories waiting to be told. Some of these stories belong to the many stray cats that have found a home among us. These resilient and often unnoticed members of our community bring unique charm and life to our campus, yet they face daily struggles for survival. It is with a deep sense of compassion and responsibility that we propose the Stray Haven initiative.

This initiative is born out of a collective desire to improve the lives of our campus cats by providing them with the care and dignity they deserve. The primary goals are to establish safe housing for these cats, ensure regular access to food and water, and implement a humane neutering program to manage their population sustainably.

By offering shelter, the initiative aims to provide a safe haven where these cats can find refuge from the elements and dangers of the streets. Regular feeding will not only nourish their bodies but also build trust between the cats and our community. Most importantly, our neutering program will help prevent the birth of more stray kittens, ensuring a healthier and more manageable cat population over time.

The Stray Haven initiative is more than just a project; it is a commitment to fostering a kinder, more compassionate environment at AFDA. It is an opportunity for us to come together, demonstrate our shared humanity, and make a tangible difference in the lives of these vulnerable animals. We might even be able to benefit from there presence on our campus...
