VR support for GTA V

The Issue

Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take Two, once said regarding VR support in GTA V: "If that’s what consumers want, we’ll be first in line to give it to them.”

The Oculus Rift and HTC Vive have been very successful considering the market for such devices. With the successful launch of the Playstation VR headset and announcements from Microsoft for their own headset now would be a great time to at least officially announce that a VR version/update will be created.

We have already seen several attempts from modders to add VR support for both the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. The Vive mod adds room scale and controller tracking as well, and it works surprisingly well. Official implementation would make GTA 5 a must own game for any VR headset owner.

Hopefully this petition will show Zelnick and Take Two that there is demand and adding VR support is worth the effort.
