A Mental Health crisis centre needs to be opened at the old Mater mental health unit As soon as possible. Providing a walk in service 24 hours a day 7 days a week. .Where help can be provided and people can be admitted to wards immediately in an emergency. A dual diagnosis team needs to be on site So people can be diagnosed  without waiting maybe 3  months on initial assessment then waiting 9-12 months for a final diagnosis. As so many lives have and are being lost.People are self medicating to be able to function and cope with things most of us take for granted.People comming suicide because they are suffering from depression or other Mental health issues. Nearly every family has lost someone they love and in the last few weeks it has become even more tragic .Stand together make it happen Paul McCusker is fully supports this and has been working away trying to get mental health recognised as a serious problem that can no longer be ignored.
