You may have heard in the news about major women's sports teams moving away from competing in white shorts. This is due to concerns and anxiety players have during menstruation, when rough play may lead to leakage.

Dark color shorts allow athletes to focus on their game and perform at their highest ability without fear of embarrassment from their periods.

I have contacted both the athletic department and superintendent of the Round Rock Independent School Distruct on this matter, but to date have received no response. If we want this change implemented with the next uniform refresh cycle, we must act now.
