The Minecraft movie is everything that stances against Minecraft itself, against its community, against its very essence. Minecraft it's about the community, about the memories that we crafted along the way, not brands (especially american ones), and companies (especially WB and Microsoft) that don't know exactly what Minecraft is for.

The Minecraft movie should have never succeeded, everyone hated it at the beginning. Warner Bros cancelled many beloved movies including Coyote vs ACME, and a version of the movie itself. And the fact that our movie got successful would mean that Warner Bros is going to cancel more stuff in favor of movies that everyone would actually hate... So what happened? Are we going to let it become the new "Live-action Lion King"? Minecraft shouldn't even have a movie to being with, at least not one made by an american corporation. Brands already stiffle and strict Minecraft's growth and development, and proved to be nothing but be harmful to the overall game's growth.

Minecraft is supposed to be free and catering towards the community, not non-gaming brands, not american companies, nor even Microsoft.

Minecraft never has nor ever needed a movie to being with. If the movie wasn't meant to be taken seriously, then we would already just have one movie with no marketting and it being taken in Youtube instead of Hollywood.
